Today's Prayer

You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature; rather, serve one another in love. The entire law is summed up in a single command: "Love your neighbor as yourself."If you keep on biting and devouring each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other.
Galatians 5:13-16

This is the scripture that I am meditating on today in an attempt to decrease myself and increase G-D. The sinful nature I am dealing with is the fact that I would rather say "I love that person I just don't like them" than really figure out what it is I don't like. The fact is there is a person in my life on a regular basis with whom I constantly use this logic. "I love him/her I just don't like him/her; I would do anything for him/her I just don't want to spend time with him/her" What kind of love is that really? I have been praying that the L-RD with soften my heart towards those people and instead of praying for them to change I have begun praying for a change in me. (What a shock...it might be me that is the issue) Either way the result can only be for the good.
