Weekend Fun

So here we are at the unofficial start of the 2009 summer season. Where has this year gone already? The weather is shaping up to be lovely and that is a blessing for a three day weekend.

Can we call it a three day weekend if we are doing work all weekend? Here's the deal: home improvements. They are a wonderful thing and in the end they improve your attitude and your home but the thought of doing the work is daunting. Generally what happens, as in this case is we know we need to do these things and we talk about doing them until we are sick of it then we do NOTHING! Nothing until that is we are up against the wall time wise then we bust our butts.

Oh well, either way we are going to get it done!! It will look nice and hopefully Kiddo will be excited to have a newly done room to stay in while she is here. In addition to painting the room we are planning on rearranging the kitchen, actually having Audrey rearranging the kitchen. That is exciting! We also have a new gazebo with a netting that will keep out all the critters!

Hopefully I will not be to exhausted to come to work on Tuesday! Whatever you are doing I hope you enjoy it!
