I meant to do this last evening but I was so tired when we got home all I wanted to do what sleep.
We woke up at 5:30 for some reason, managed to leave the house by 7:30, go to temple at 8:00. We set up the tables for oneg and then headed up to prayer. Anyone who really knows me knows that I am not one for praying in front of others, especially those I don't know well. However, I studied up, wrote down the things I wanted to pray for and it went really well.
Husband was in his element and did a great job of course. He has a gift and that is certainly something I was getting a word from G-d on yesterday. It will take a lot of prayer so more to come on that later.
The prayer walk was nice...it was warm out and I am not in the best shape but it was really a joy to spend time in fellowship with the others. It seems like during regular Shabbat service there is not as deep a connection with each other. Also Joel and Darcie (Rabbi and Mrs.) are so busy during Shabbat that it can be difficult to spend time with them as well. I feel that whole day was wonderful and I am looking forward to the opportunity to do it again soon.
Soon off to the grands house for weekly duties there. Have a blessed day
