Yay Weekend

So we made it to the weekend. Hooray!

Things that happened today:

Someone who once did something to me that was really wrong about three years ago and got off seemingly Scott free was let go today. While I never rejoice at someone else's misfortune I do know that G-d says revenge is His and I can't help thinking that you reap what you sow. I will pray that this person's family will not suffer as a result of this I do feel slightly vindicated. [This action most likely had nothing, or at least very little, to do with the reason this person was let go my above statement still stands]

My new manager told me I have made to many lateral moves within the company (why yes, yes I have) and his/her goal is to move me off the team and into a different {ie, higher paying} position as soon as feasible!!

Praise G-d!

In other news I listened to a few of my phone calls today which I despise but I did have some takeaways so that's a win.

I have been slightly humbled in this new position because I am for all intents and purposes new. I know after four years being new is hard to imagine but I am. This means that people don't treat me with the degree of respect/deference to which I am accustomed. That has taken some getting used to but I am just going to have to work the way I always do to get my name out there in this new area.

They will know me and my greatness :) soon!

Well I really need to shave and clean up before Shabbot tonight since we are picking up Melanie and bringing her with us tomorrow (more on that later) but I need to do it soon as Jesi is coming over for dinner. We are having spaghetti, garlic bread, Cesar salad, wine (yay!), and blackberry pie. Thus I should get moving now because after visiting and eating all that I will be in no mood to clean up and I really don't want to be the hairy lady at temple.
