Weekend Rewind

Pretty typical weekend but it was relxing and that is all we can ask for.

Friday night husband and I went to the bookstore ended up with The Reader. We will see. Then we watched the second to last episode of Battle Star...is anyone else sad about that? I spent the the first part of the show resenting the fact that I was watching a sci-fi show but now I am so hooked and it is over....sad sad sad. Truly on of the last good shows on tv.

Saturday temple...running late...just made it but Jesi was there which I am so so happy about. The service was good as usual as was oneg. I keep praying that the L-rd will show me what my place is in the temple but so far nothing. It is an excellent place of worship and I am continually encouraged when there but the hardest part for me is that I don't know where to start. The congregation is slightly older and I feel like that is not where my calling is. I would love to work with the children or people my age. All I can do is keep praying and wait for an answer.

After temple we went to Khol's and spent a lot of time and too much money. That is honestly my favorite store around here. I did get some really nice new clothes. Two dresses, a shirt some bracelets and new socks. After Khol's it was time for yardwork and general home maintenance. We then met Jesi at Fashion Valley...had a wonderful dinner with a mojito my favorite then saw Revolutionary Road. It was a great evening and we topped it off with a trip to the Apple store...I think we may see a MacBook in our future.

Today was a nice day of helping at the grand's house....it is not a bad thing but sometimes it hits home how tough it can be to be the only child in a family and the responsibility that comes with that.

Tomorrow holds a lot of promise. Be blessed
