So right now I should be hanging out with my friends from work having a great time. Instead I am sitting in my bed rotating from being overly hot to overly cold. My right ear and throat have a sort of dull ache that is worse when I swallow. My body is sort of tender as if I might make it hurt if I do to much.
Not sure what is going on I was feeling well this morning. We all slept until 9! Then we took kiddo to the grands to hang out / work with the horses. Husband and I went to pay some bills then stopped by a few stores to check out the awesome Halloween stuff. When we came home it was feeling really sleepy and after a nap and some food I started feeling worse. Really upset I didn't make it to girl's night.
In other news, I was in desperate need of retail therapy after an extremely bad work day. We went to the old stand by, (no one's favorite but we always end up there) Wal*Mart. I found some wonderful silicone muffin pans in the shape of leaves, pumpkins and acorns. These will be great for zucchini, pumpkin, and carrot muffins. We also got some cookie cutters in the shape of various Halloween things, candy necklace making kit, Halloween window clings, as well as some foil loaf pans for banana bread I plan to make providing I am well tomorrow.
Holly's birthday is on Halloween and we have a big surprise for her. We are also having a large Halloween party and on the Saturday taking her for a special dinner. The party should be great. We have all kinds of stuff to hand out to the trick-or-treaters. Play-doh, goldfish and fruit snacks for the little kids; full size candy bars for the larger kids. Holly will have a few friends over to trick-or-treat with and the adults will have beer, wine, a fire pit and old Frankenstien movies. We will have our traditional chili-dogs and mulled cider for dinner. Holly wants a chocolate cake with white icing for her cake so that's what we will have.
I am looking forward to it and found some great invitations that I will pass out soon.
I am going to take some Nyqul and fall into a coma-like sleep.
Good night
